ASPEK KEBIASAAN MAKANAN IKAN KURISI BALI (Pristipmoides multidens, Day 1871)
YANG TERTANGKAP DI PERAIRAN DERAWAN DAN SEKITARNYA

ABSTRAK

The purpose of the research was to know food habits of Kurisi Bali (Pristipomoides multidens, Day 1871) in Derawan waters. The Research was conducted in Derawan Waters, it was started in Juny 2005 to February 2006. The number of Sample 205 it is sliced and taken digestion (bounce up and the intestine) then fermented using formalin liquid 4%  and then identified of type his food at laboratory and analyzed using the method of occurence frequency. The occurence frequency percented of food habits of fish Kurisi Bali (Pristipomoides multidens, Day 1871) consisted of male; Pisces (60 %), Cephalopoda  (10 %), Crustacea ( 22,5 %). consisted of female; Pisces (55%), Cephalopoda (17,5 %), Crustacea (17,5 %). The food item of Kurisi Bali (Pristipomoides multidens, Day 1871) is Sardinella sp, Decapterus sp, Loligo sp dan Megarryciphanes sp.

PENGARUH KONSENTRASI SALINITAS TERHADAP PENYAKIT KUNANG-KUNANG
(Vibrio harveyi) PADA LARVA UDANG WINDU (Penaeus monodon Fabricius)

ABSTRACT

The objective of this experimen was to know the effect of salinity consentrate for luminescent disease (Vibrio harveyi) preventive and survival rate of tiger shrimp larvae. This experiment was conducted in the fisheris product quality control laboratory of marine and fisheris affairs agency, Tarakan for two month. Completely randomized design with four treatments and three replications used in this experimen. Ie; A (10 ppt salinity), B (15 ppt salinity), C (20 ppt salinity) and D (25 ppt salinity). Analysis of variance followed by LSD multiple range applied to know the different interaction of salinity consentrate on survival rate of larvae. The Result of this experiment showed that the best survival rate obtained from salinity 10 ppt (64,762 %) followed with salinity 15 ppt (54,286 %), salinity 20 ppt (51, 426 %) and salinity 25 ppt {47,619 %). Respectively, Smellest attack level on tissue abtained from salinity 10 ppt.

PENGARUH PENURUNAN SUHU TERHADAP KELULUSHIDUPAN

ABSTRACT

The objective of the study was to find out the to survival rate of milkfish larvae at CV. Buana Indah Pantai Amal Tarakan, Mei 2006. The experiment method was a completely Randomized Design (CRD) with two treatment (transportation with and without ice) with ten replicates for each treatment. The materials were milkfish larvae of 30 days, Stereofoam with a size 47 cm x 31 cm x 28 cm transparent plastic bag size 25 cm x 45 x 0,3 cm, thermometer, pure oxygen, another supporting equipments and water quality measurement devices. The method used was simulation. Put the selected milkfish larvae into the plastic bag, density tested were 1001arvas/L and addited by oxygen 1:3 tied up, put them into the stereofoam, addited by ice and put into simulator tube. Water quality was measured at the beginning and at the end of the research, while the temperature reduction was gradually measured every one hour during the research. Data analyzed was survival rate, which before analyzing were tested by using Least Significance Difference Analisist (LSD) test. F-test was used to determine the real effect of giving ice on the survival rate of milkfish larvae, during the closed transportation as a simulation. The result indicated that survival rate of milkfish larvae at the transportation without ice (B treatment) showed a better result with the survival rate of 80,8% in average than the transportation with ice (A treatment) with the survival rate of 25% in average.

ABSTRACT

The study attempted to know food habits as one of the biology aspect of bombay duck (Harpodon nehereus Ham Buch, 1822) caught at sea adjacent to Juata Laut Tarakan. This study was conducted from june to july 2005 the samples were abtaned from the local fishermen. Sampling frequency has four times. Will to interval of fifteen days. Ten persen from the local yeeld of each trips the used as sample. The body length on body weight zone measured to analized the food habit. The food habit was analized by index of preponderance (IBT). Each organism was separated on the filter paper or tissue then measured its digestion system by using calibrated beaker. Based on the results of this research that the amoy croaker, white prawn and tiger cat prawn were dominan by food habit the stomach of bombay duck. According to the analized by IBT the main food of the bombay duck is white prawn (78,10%) and its supllement food is tiger cat prawn (7,03 %) where as amoy croaker fish (3,50 %) is just its additional food. The result of this research displayed that the group category either male or female or combination fish have the same food habit where the highest index of large proportion food was white prawn.

FAKTOR KONDISI IKAN TENGGIRI BATANG (Scomberomorus lineatus),
BAWAL PUTIH (Pampus argenteus) DAN IKAN SENANGIN (Eleutheronema tetradactylum)
YANG TERTANGKAP DENGAN GILLNET DI PERAIRAN PANTAI AMAL TARAKAN

ABSTRACT

The aim of this research was to know the ponderal indeks and the relationship between body lenght and body weight of streake Spanish mackerel fish (Scomberomorus lineatus), silver fompret fish (Pampus argenteus), and treadfin fish (Eleutheronema tetradactylum) that caught at sea adjacent to Pantai Amal Tarakan. This research was conducted from June to July 2005. Sampel fishes were taken by giiinet. Based on the results of this research, that relationship between body lenght and body weight of each fishes was ( Scomberomorus lineatus) Y= 0,0004+2,4088 X, r = 0,9715, n = 173; Pampus argenteus Y= 0,0044+2,3609X, r=0,9646, n= 142 and F,leutheronema tetradactylum Y= 0,0011+2,4914X, r= 0,9713, n= 62. There result indicated that the fish displayed negatif alometric character and shaw the strong and positive relation. The relative ponderat index of the three species were: Scomberomorus lineatus 0,9649, Pampus argenteus 1,0155 and Eleutheronema tetradeuctylum 1,0232, respectively.

HUBUNGAN PANJANG-BERAT DAN FAKTOR KONDISI IKAN NOMEI
(Harpodon nehereus Ham Buch, 1822) DI PERAIRAN JUATA LAUT TARAKAN

ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan panjang-berat dan faktor kondisi ikan Nomei (Harpodon nehereus Ham Buch, 1822) di perairan Juata laut Tarakan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di perairan Juata Laut Tarakan, yang berlangsung dari bulan Juni sampai bulan Juli tahun 2005. Ikan sampel diperoleh dari nelayan langsung. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan diperoleh hubungan panjang-berat dengan nilai koefisien regresi (b) untuk ikan jantan, betina dan gabungan masing-masing 3,1151; 3,4028; 3,3953. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa bentuk pertumbuhan ikan Nomei bersifat allometrik positif. Hal ini berarti bahwa selama masa pertumbuhannya terjadi perubahan bentuk tubuh dan berat, dimana pertumbuhan berat lebih cepat dari pertumbuhan panjang. Nilai koefisien korelasi menunjukkan hubungan yang kuat dan positif. Nilai faktor kondisi untuk ikan jantan, betina dan gabungan masing-masing nilai yang diperoleh 0,3824-2,2720; 0,4809-3,2405; 0,4524-3,0482. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa ikan Nomei masuk kategori ikan yang berbentuk yang agak pipih, secara keseluruhan bentuk tubuh betina lebih besar dari jantan dan menunjukkan pola pertumbuhan yang bersifat allometrik positif.
